However, Billy one of Andrew's officers and Bruce Lee's student warned him about his squad being ordered to detain the entire association. They arrived at the immigration center to clear Zhonghua's name. Gwai alerted Ip Man and Yonah about Andrew detaining her father. While Yonah was at the Mid-Autumn Festival with Ip Man, Andrew and his squad of immigration officers raided and detained Wan Zhonghua at his headquarters, and threatened Zhonghua of rounding up the members of the association. Gabrielle goaded Andrew to deport all the Chinese Americans, he reopened the case that alleges the Chinese Benevolent Association's involvement with the illegal immigration of Chinese migrants. Andrew naively believed his daughter's lie about Yonah bullying her when in reality she and her gang of field hockey boys assaulted her and got thwarted by Ip Man.
Andrew Walters was on a business trip until his wife Gabrielle Walters called him to come back home when his daughter, Becky accidentally injured herself while attacking Wan Yonah.
